The story behind Mustard Seed.
Marcia Kelsey-Martinez Founder & Lead DeveloperFor as long as I can remember, I've always been fascinated by how people think, feel, and make decisions — how our brains work, what drives us, and how we move through the world.
That natural curiosity is why I pursued a Master's degree in Psychology, paired with a foundation in business. But over time, I realized I wanted to channel that understanding into something tangible. That led me to full-stack web development, where I discovered my true calling: bridging the gap between human behavior and digital design.
Why "Mustard Seed"?
Every great venture starts with a microscopic idea. Mustard Seed Digital Studio was born from my own tiny vision — a belief that intentional design and clean, scalable engineering could change how businesses connect with their audiences.
When you build a website, you aren't just writing code or picking color palettes. You are building a digital home that has to feel welcoming, intuitive, and alive from the moment someone lands on it.
Where Psychology Meets Code
Today, I bring all of those worlds together. Whether I'm designing a boutique e-commerce marketplace like Studio Santana or building out robust digital platforms like Find Christian Sitters, I approach development entirely through the lens of human experience.
